Tony Soprano Band is an instrumental project recorded and released via Dune Castle Records, centred around live improvisation, collaboration, and the studio as an instrument. Operating as a rotating cast of musicians, the project is shaped within the Dune Castle environment.
Downtempo 1 sits at the intersection of live band interplay and downtempo electronic music. Drawing from the language of breaks, sampling and loop-based composition, every sound on the record originates from live performance. Drums, bass, synthesizers and hardware elements were performed simultaneously, with no fixed arrangements or predetermined outcomes.

Blademasters is a new Melbourne instrumental project formed by Patrick Ryan (Cantrips) and Lachlan Stuckey (Surprise Chef).
Drawing on the spirit of David Axelrod's bold cinematic jazz works of the 1960s and 1970s (Songs Of Experience, Pride and The Electric Prunes' Release Of An Oath), the debut Blademasters release King’s Knight / Live By The Blade features Stuckey and Ryan performing delicate acoustic guitar arrangements in unison, set against dramatic movements by a rhythm section comprising Hudson Whitlock (Karate Boogaloo, The Pro-Teens, Frollen Music Library), Jethro Curtin (Surprise Chef) and Tom Pettit (Let Your Hair Down).
